Feature requests.
Combine duplicate requests, retain the customers behind demand, explain the status, and notify the right audience after release.
Managani gives lean SaaS teams one feedback inbox for ideas, bugs, votes, comments, account context, roadmap decisions, and the follow-up after something ships.
A list of feature ideas is not enough. Product feedback becomes useful when the team can see who asked, what outcome they need, whether similar customers agree, how the request was evaluated, where it sits on the roadmap, what was released, and who needs a follow-up. Managani keeps those decisions in one record instead of scattering them across a form tool, chat, spreadsheet, roadmap, and email draft.
That shared history matters most for founder-led and lean product teams. The person answering support may also own the roadmap and write the release note. Managani reduces handoffs without pretending that vote count alone is a prioritization strategy.
Collect feedback through the public portal or the team dashboard. Keep the submitter and account identity attached, so a request is more than anonymous text.
Choose public or private visibility, approve or reject portal submissions, add tags, assign an owner, and ask follow-up questions before the team commits to a solution.
Use votes and comments as one signal. Compare them with account importance, strategic fit, urgency, support volume, and the evidence collected in interviews.
Place the request in a roadmap list such as under review, planned, in progress, ready, or shipped. Public status can inform customers without exposing private team notes.
Connect shipped work to a changelog entry, guide users toward the change, and use product tracking to check whether the requested outcome actually improved.
Combine duplicate requests, retain the customers behind demand, explain the status, and notify the right audience after release.
Separate a defect from a desired workflow, collect reproducible context, and keep discussion attached to the original report.
Give support a durable place to record product signal without losing it in a private channel or copying it into another tool later.
A useful feedback record starts with knowing which user and account it represents.
Create a Managani site and configure the portal, approval defaults, brand surface, and the product areas your team will manage.
Use the public Node SDK or Express SDK where it fits. Keep authentication and customer identity on a trusted server boundary.
Publish a portal for customer-visible ideas while letting internal teams add private requests from calls, support, or account reviews.
Managani does not replace discovery interviews, product judgment, engineering issue tracking, or a mature research repository. A high vote count can still represent a small vocal segment. Complex enterprises may need deeper permission models, bespoke workflows, or existing CRM integrations that should be validated during beta.
The hosted beta currently includes the product workflow without a per-seat charge. Future pricing is not presented as final. The full application is planned for an AGPL release at v1, but that repository and self-hosted deployment are not public today. Review current pricing and current open-source status before deciding.
It collects product ideas and problems, preserves customer context, helps teams evaluate demand, and connects the decision to roadmap status and follow-up. The tool organizes evidence; it does not make the decision for the team.
Yes. Teams can keep a record private or approve it for a public portal. Visibility, approval, comments, votes, tags, status, assignee, and roadmap placement are managed from the feedback detail.
Feedback can connect to the roadmap and changelog workflow. That gives the team a traceable path from the original request to a release explanation and product-adoption follow-up.
It can for teams that value an integrated, lightweight product loop. Canny is a mature dedicated feedback product; Productboard is deeper for structured product discovery and prioritization. See the sourced comparisons before migrating.
